Heiligenstadt in the North,

Creuzburg, Mihla, Treffurt, Wanfried, Eschwege, Bad Sooden-Allendorf in the West and

Bad Langensalza, Muehlhausen, Dingelstaedt, Leinefelde and Worbis in the East.

The 'Alternative Bear Park' in Worbis accommodates bears and wolves.

You relax in the brine baths and thermal spas of Heiligenstadt and Langensalza or in the Leinefelde indoor swimming pool's sports and family center.

Hainich National Park is part of the Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal Nature Park. The Nature Park aims at achieving a balance between regional development, nature and tourism.
