Depending on train connections, it takes 1 to 1:30 hours from Frankfurt to Heidelberg, 1:50 to 2:30 hours from Heidelberg to Strasbourg. Directly from Frankfurt to Strasbourg, you need by train 2:15 to 3:15 hours. Depending on train connections, it takes 1:40 to 2:30 hours from Frankfurt to Eisenach, ca 1:30 hours from Frankfurt to Kassel, 0:50 to 1:20 hours from Eisenach to Muehlhausen, circa 5 minutes from Muehlhausen to Seebach, circa 10 minutes from Seebach to Bad Langensalza, 0:30 to 1:00 hours from Bad Langensalza to Gotha, circa 20 minutes from Gotha to Erfurt, circa 15 minutes from Erfurt to Weimar, circa 1:00 hour from Erfurt to Ilmenau, 1:40 to 2:00 hours from Weimar to Dessau, 1:30 to 2:30 hours from Dessau to Berlin. From Dessau station to Woerlitz - a distance of 11 miles - you take the historic "Dessau-Woerlitzer Eisenbahn" on Wednesdays and on weekends. During the rest of the week, there is a bus service. Directly from Frankfurt to Berlin, you need 4 to 4:30 hours. Early in the morning, taking the first ICE train, 3:30 hours - traveling one hundred miles per hour! You arrive in Karlsbad/Karlovy Vary in 6:00 to 7:00 hours from Frankfurt or Weimar. You arrive in Prague in 7:15 to 8:45 hours from Frankfurt, in 5 hours from Berlin.
