By Train and Bus

You reach Roemhild via Eisenach, Bad Salzungen, Meiningen or

Wuerzburg, Schweinfurt, Mellrichstadt and Hildburgshausen. You find train stations at Rentwertshausen and Untermassfeld, there are busses to Roemhild and to Waldhaus at the Gleichberg.

Plan for circa four hours from Frankfurt, for 1:45 to 2 Stunden from Eisenach .

By Car

From Frankfurt you follow the direction Hanau and Fulda. Before you reach Fulda, you turn into the direction Bad Neustadt, Bad Koenigshofen. From Bad Koenigshofen you take the road to Meiningen. You get to Roemhild in circa 2:40 hours.

From Eisenach you drive via Meiningen, direction Bad Koenigshofen. Plan for circa 1:45 hours.
